Dopey thread! But for the record, I personally know nobody here.....
Windows sucks period. If they didn't have the best gaming support I'd probably use an open source OS.
Nothing wrong with Win 7, which I will stay with as long as I can.
As for open source, I recommend Ubuntu Linux. I have a couple of VM's running it.
Insurers say the early buyers of health coverage on the nation’s troubled new websites are older than expected so far,
raising early concerns about the economics of the insurance marketplaces.
If the trend continues, an older, more expensive set of customers could drive up prices for everyone, the insurers say,
by forcing them to spread their costs around. “We need a broad range of people to make this work, and we’re not seeing
that right now,” said Heather Thiltgen of Medical Mutual of Ohio, the state’s largest insurer by individual customers.
“We’re seeing the population skewing older.” http://fdlaction.fir...ning-up-so-far/
Add to the fact that many younger folks are saying "fuck" you to Obamacare, there is trouble on the horizon...
A question for you dopey libs......is the liberal media reporting as many or more happy stories about those that have actually
signed up for an Obamacare plan then the con media are reporting on the negative stories? For some reason I am doubting it!
Have to tell you girls this or you think I'm hiding .
The wife gives me the look as she's cleaning. So back in awhile
Look at you, succumbing to the whip....
We don't want big government right conns? So no oversight of theses things .
The news media is the only thing we have to expose it .
So conns what's your answer?
Very simple. See my signature below!
Well, I'm not the one posting all the time. 581 posts since February. I figure I'll get it up to a thousand in another 6 or 8 months.
I don't know anybody here.
Just checking to see if this dump is back to working.
God....not this topic again???
Did someone twist your arm and force you to click on this thread?
Looks like we have a new Rayj.
I wanted to vote no, and then I thought I might as well post "God....not this topic again???".....
How can you dopey libs stand by and accept this, as I know you will????TSA will now “pre-screen” your taxes, car registration, passport, employment history, and more Nothing short of a criminal background check will allow you to travel in America.
Travelers are now being subjected to even more invasive screening procedures by the infamous Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Before “allowing” people to travel, the TSA is performing unwarranted checks of a wide variety of personal documents, going further than ever before into the lives of innocent passengers. As expected, Americans will roll over for the new intrusions and accept that they are necessary to protect the Homeland.
The new pre-screening procedure is more exhaustive than a federal background check. The TSA will now be dramatically expanding their reach into the lives of every passenger, and scouring all of the following documents, according to the New York Times:
“I think the best way to look at it is as a pre-crime assessment every time you fly,” said Edward Hasbrouck to the New York Times. Hasbrouck is a consultant to the Identity Project, one of the groups that oppose the prescreening initiatives. “The default will be the highest, most intrusive level of search, and anything less will be conditioned on providing some additional information in some fashion.”
What gives the TSA this authority? The constitution does not even provide for the TSA’s existence. In fact, the constitution ensures that the federal government will not perform these kinds of searches without probable cause or a warrant. Yet all day, every day, the agency devotes itself to performing warrantless searches of travelers. Its existence is a travesty, and its mission-creep is alarming (and predictable).
And what will the TSA do with this information? Nobody is explaining what criteria the agency will be looking for to indicate whether a passenger will be denied the right to travel. How can job history and vehicle registration possibly be relevant to flight safety? What happens if you have criminal convictions on your record? More groping?
Is owing taxes going to prevent people from flying? Actually, the NYT reports that the TSA will be reporting their findings to “a debt collection agency for the purpose of debt collection.”
For fun, compare the government’s disparate efforts in invading travelers’ privacy versus ensuring fair and proper voter registration.
The process is meant to be onerous. The only alternative that travelers are left with is to join the TSA’s “PreCheck” program and become a “trusted traveler.” This program allows passengers to willingly submit their biometric fingerprint scans into a FBI database, submit to a criminal background check, and pay the TSA a fee of $85.00 for a five-year PreCheck membership. RT reports that the TSA may net $255 Million hustling travelers in 2013. This option is still highly invasive, and actually enriches the very entity that is violating our liberties, so it hardly seems like a viable alternative.
Ask yourself: Is this how free people travel? Every trip is now turned into a personal investigation by the federal government. This might be reasonable research to do on inmates transferring between maximum security prisons, but not for people trying to travel between American cities. http://www.policesta...oyment-history/
Can I vote in a state other then my own?
I'm really surprised McCain is not on the list......

The power of the absence of government.
Want to make just about anything work better? Keep the government as far away from it as possible, then step back and behold the wonderment and goodness.
Here's what you get. It's simple and quick, gives you all the information you need and links to the insurers so you can buy.
Via Chicks on the Right, with a hat tip to my friend Sarah Barnes, San Francisco residentsNing Liang, George Kalogeropoulous and Michael Wasser suspected that HealthCare.gov would have worked just fine if it had been thought through correctly from the start, and built using simple logic and basic common sense. In a few days, with a budget of exactly zero, they proved it. The UK's Daily Mail reports:
'They got it completely backwards in terms of what people want up front,' Liang toldCBS News. The programmer continued: 'They want prices and benefits, so that they could make the decision.'
HealthSherpa.com, which is just two weeks old, allows a user to simply input their zip code and view all the health plans available to them.
The website claims: 'The Health Sherpa is a free guide that makes it easier to find and sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. We only use carefully vetted, publicly available data.'
The programmers are also adding features to the site, such as a section on tax subsidies. But the three 20-year-olds say they worked on the project as a service rather than to make money.
I just tried it, simply inputting my zip code, and the available plans came up instantly. (And I'm working with a bit of a slow connection today thanks to something going on with Verizon. Every other site I try is slow, but this one came right up.)
Now in fairness to the proprietors of HealthGlitch.gov, HealthSherpa doesn't presume to do everything the real one is supposed to do. For example, you can't actually sign up for coverage. But it does provide links to the insurance companies so you can buy directly from them if you want. And maybe that's a better plan anyway. You click a link and you sign up. That is exponentially better than spending hours in ObamaCare web hell.
Remember, they built this thing in days. For free. Meanwhile, the federal government spent three years and $634 million and got a disaster, which they knew wouldn't work days before launch, but launched anyway because political promises overrule common sense at all times.
This is a perfect encapsulation of why everything is worse when government tries to run it. Three 20-year-old dudes with basic competence and a pretty clear idea of what they want to do can create something that works in a few days because they're not concerned with political patronage, politics, insane contracting rules, reporting requirements and the like. They're just concerned with getting the job done.
The government sees a project like this as an excuse to spend hundreds of millions of dollars and keep thousands of people busy, all in the service of creating something that doesn't work. And these are the same people who think they have to run health care, and everything else, because it will be fairer and better if mirco-managed by the "experts."
Maybe we'd be better off if we put 20-year-old dudes in charge of everything. All right. That might be pushing it.
Thanks for that input Result. I understand exactly where your coming from although in my limits it would be difficult to attempt to respond to everything you said. There is much accuracy in your words. I thought just to bring the question to the ruling "race' although I believe we are one. Many don't see that.
The evil that exist and the good that just watch it go by, hoping and praying that somehow good will overcome without a recognition of the actual causes and there are a few which remain in the hands of the few.
Hear, Hear, but it still does not answer the question. The ruling class or race of people that have held control over this Republic must answer to the question. Why and how is it being destroyed. Who are the controlling agents and what are their tools.
Pretty funny when 2 wack jobs actually understand each other!
What a piece of shit!

Obama Budget: Cap Military Raises, Hike Retiree Health Fees
Trying once more to get military compensation costs "under control," the Obama administration has asked Congress to cap annual active duty and reserve component pay raises, and to phase in over four years a complex formula for raising TRICARE fees on retirees of all ages and their families.
Fucking Obama should be finding good jobs for our returning boys.
What a piece of shit!!
How embarassing that our boys even have to be on SNAP!
This administration could care less!
(Reuters) - Less than 50,000 Americans were able to sign up for new Obamacare health insurance plans through the error-plagued HealthCare.gov website serving 36 states, falling far short of the federal government's target, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday. http://www.huffingto..._n_4256563.html
Obama was expecting 500,000!!!
Both reports I've heard or read say "less than 50,000"! So, it could be 10,000, could be 30,000...whatever!
Still a kick in Obama's groinal area!
Crickets from the libturds.....
