Dennis Mcguire raped and murdered Joy Stewart, 22, in 1989. He was convicted of kidnap, rape and murder in 1994.

According to court records, Joy Stewart, who was eight months pregnant at the time, was last seen getting into a vehicle with Dennis Mcguire. Her dead body was discovered in a remote area of woods the next day. The coroner's report states that the victim was raped and stabbed.

I hope the bastard died a miserable death and suffered mightily.

Well i'm certainly not an expert on the subject, but his family members were not guilty of any crime, and what that scene did to them is unconscionable. While the death penalty may be warranted in some cases, i'm also of the opinion that two wrongs don't make a right.

EDIT:

When do we as a supposedly civilized society in the 21st century, stop the archaic practices of the 1st century. Also if people who claim to be pro life feel they have the right to not have the Constitutional right of an abortion funded with their tax money. Why doesn't someone who is anti death penalty afforded the same right to not have their tax money be used for the state to kill someone in their name. Double standard much?

The family was not required to be their. I wonder what the victims family thought when they were notified of their 22 year old daughters brutal murder at his hands.

All of this flap over a lane closure is nothing more than an attempt to divert attention from the administrations ongoing failures.

There was one wrong

And then there was a right.

His execution was not a wrong, it was a "right"

You're working 84 hours per week because your job sucks and your employer is clearly able to take advantage of you due to the glut of workers in the labour pool. Usually when there are many people per job, the employer can stick it to you and force you into working in relatively poor conditions.

More like they probably can not find enough with the proper skills and work ethic.. If you notice, he is a welder, which not only is a difficult skill but there is truly an art to being a good welder.

Not many of them left and the millennials are deathly afraid of possibly getting a bit dirty far a very good wage.

A liberal has always been "do as I say, not as I do".

That is why I snicker at the powerless peons.

BO is absolutely clueless as how to get the economy really moving. he has made an enemy of business, especially small business. He is fiscally the epitome of the Peter Principle.

Other than her being a dem, and being upper middle class, is there anything she said that you consider false?

Maybe not false but a bit of a twisted outlook. Too late for me to research her tonight, but I would be interested as to her source of wealth and what she does in her personal life to walk the talk.

Hell they were supposed to pull the offshore boat today and pressure wash the bottom and gear and give her annual underwater inspection. It was 27 degrees on the Gulf coast when she was scheduled to be lifted, the marina said hell no.

Costco also has a revenue stream called paying a fee to shop there. Also your little link that I skimmed does not delve into what each persons job responsibilities are.

Do you never tire of these pinata threads?

For chrissakes, he was an entertainer. Nothing more, nothing less. I am a huge Buffett parrothead, his politics are 180 degrees from mine, doesn't mean that I do not enjoy his music and the lifestyle that it is about.
