One thing I'm going to do is present Hillary Clinton's comment, "What difference does it make...", in context so ignorant fools like Vikesfan can have a reference to use before spouting their nonsensical bullshit.
The comment was made during a U.S. Senate committee hearing on January 23, 2013. Then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was being grilled by Sen. Ron Johnson, a Wisconsin rethuglican who was on his high horse that day, less interested in determining facts as to pinning the blame for the attack on the Obama administration, honesty and integrity be damned if they got in his way. Here is the exchange containing the comment the right wingnut lunatic fringe like to indulge in their willful ignorance over:

Johnson: No, again, we were misled that there were supposedly protests and that something sprang out of that -- an assault sprang out of that -- and that was easily ascertained that that was not the fact, and the American people could have known that within days and they didn’t know that.

Clinton:
With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided that they’d they go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator. Now, honestly, I will do my best to answer your questions about this, but the fact is that people were trying in real time to get to the best information. The IC has a process, I understand, going with the other committees to explain how these talking points came out. But you know, to be clear, it is, from my perspective, less important today looking backwards as to why these militants decided they did it than to find them and bring them to justice, and then maybe we’ll figure out what was going on in the meantime.

Johnson kept intentionally trying to derail the exchange from fact-finding to blame placing. Hillary walked away with his shriveled-up balls in her briefcase. So, cons, keep in mind that you cannot use the "what difference does it make" comment out of context without looking stupid. But I'm sure you'll try anyway because, well, you really are stupid.

They testified they told him it was a terrorist attack...

Hindsight is always 20/20...Of course you can't go back in time and change anything....

I still feel as an American I have the right to know what happened, and why no one was sent to help.....

It's our job as a nation to protect our ambassadors....It doesn't matter if it was a terrorist attack, or a protest gone bad, we should be sending help immediately...If we get there and it is too late, we can at least say we tried.....

As an American, where was your outrage here?

Freedom Industries, the company behind the toxic chemical spill that forced 300,000 West Virginia residents and businesses to go without water for several days, has done what every good, red-blooded American company does in a situation like this. They've foregone the concept of corporate responsibility and have decided to socialize their losses by declaring bankruptcy to evade facing the monetary consequences of their incompetent malfeasance.

So, just to make sure this is understood:
• Regulations are bad because they interfere with corporate endeavors to earn as much profit as possible.
• Socialism is always bad, except..
• When socialism is used by corporations to force others to pay for the losses incurred by incompetent and unregulated actions of their own doing.

Sound about right?

The problem isn't regulation. The problem is the repercussions, or the lack thereof.

Crash the economy and you win a bailout.

Please try and stay on topic, OK?
Do you think it's cool that Freedom Industries is absolving itself of corporate responsibility and socializing the costs of it's unregulated actions?

I understand perfectly well, pansy. The asshole was not tortured, only you panty wadders would be upset over this.

Actually, you don't understand. That's one of your biggest problems.
I have no problem with executing criminals for heinous crimes. But the state has no right to cause undue suffering in the name of vengeance. Now, you might think that's quite OK. But then again, no one will ever accuse you of being christian.

I didn't know we were supposed to be ashamed for not having sympathy for this fuckhead.

It has nothing to do with sympathy. This guy committed a heinous, inhuman act and deserved execution. But the evil nature of his crime shouldn't be cause for society to sink to his level in a quest for vengeance. That would make us no better than him.

I have no problem with it at all if justified. It was justified in this case, but unfortunately, there was no torture. shithead got off easy.

I pity you. Anyone who's own life is so pathetic and unfulfilling that they advocate the torture of others just to make themselves feel better is at least deserving of a bit of pity.

Only a person with blind agenda, regardless of logical thought would be the least bit concerned with how McGuire ceased to breath.

For what he did, he got off very lucky.

So it took 24 minutes for him to die. Can you imagine the horror that poor girl went through? Her whole lifetime must have flashed through her mind as her throat was slit!!!

You and the bait cutter share the same moral depravity that would allow you to sink to the same level as a man who would rape and murder an 8-month pregnant woman. You are no different, and certainly no better than, McGuire. All three of you are brethren.

God didn't make the homosexual: he wants them exterminated!

Considering god is a mythical being created in the image of primitive, unenlightened humans to explain what they could not understand, it isn't any imaginary deity that wants homosexuals exterminated. It's the zealots who foolishly cling to their superstition to justify their hatred and bigotry that do.

Yup. He should pay up what he owes. But, he is a right wingnut taker, a slacker, a tax dodger, and a crook. So he should have his sorry ass tossed in prison for the rest of his worthless, miserable life.
