Notice the word 'breaking' in my title, which means the story had just broken.

And I also edited that post, because I didn't mean to refer to it as bullshit.
I've been a little out of touch with the news today.
Has the FBI declared that the 35 pages of documents that McCain gave them are bullshit?

And you're still defending it even though it has been thoroughly discredited.
And yes, the FBI said they never believed it.

‘Intel and law enforcement officials agree that none of the investigations have found any conclusive or direct link between Donald Trump and the Russian government, period.’

Has anyone read the 35 page dossier that McCain turned over to the FBI yet?
I haven't read it, but I plan to.
It contains some crazy stuff like how Trump supposedly paid prostitutes to perform “golden showers” at the Moscow Ritz Carlton Hotel.

Now I understand why he felt the need to remind people that he is a 'germaphobe' at today's press conference.

I never had a teacher named Mrs. Hobensnobben, and I never claimed that my grammar and spelling were perfect....far from it, so I don't know why you decided that you needed to check me.

You're the last one who should be correcting anyone anyway.
There's a whole lot I could say about your posts, but I don't.

Just curious, what do you think was wrong with my post anyway?

You're still not telling the truth. What CNN reported was that Trump was given a 2 page memo on the Fake Russian news and how it can be used against him.
Someone in Intelligence leaked that information to CNN.

Did The U.S. Intelligence Community Fall For an Internet Prank?

It looks like they did! One of the posters here has an Einstein quote that is either "How"? and "Why " or "When and "Why" . Anyway somewhere we forgot the why part. We put more and more vital information and in fact systems which we depend on for life on a proven vulnerable internet. Why? apparently nobody ask anymore, we just do what we are able to do with no real thought to the consequences. Much like a child. But this is bullshit. Our sensitive data and things like transfer station controls don't need to be online and should not be , given the vulnerability of the net and as this situation points out our experts inability to show expertise.
Within a building or campus ( for example the Pentagon) we can use an itranet. And then we can transfer information more securely after that.
It started with electricity and the telegrapgh. Proven vulnerable to solar flares , but no body blinked. One of the greatest threats to our own Nation Security is of our own making for failing to ask Why?
There's always a story beneath the story at the water cooler. always . And in this case that story is about why the hell your government would continue to make itself and us more and more dependednt upon fragile, vulnerable infrastructure where our "experts" can't even tell what's real and what isn't. Maybe it's time they answered that question for the public.

You don't really know what the term FAKE news means do you?
FAKE news is when someone sets up a phony website designed to look like a real media outlet, and posts a bunch of made up stories with salacious headlines that are designed to be clickbait.
The more people click on them, the more they get paid.

Those 35 pages could very well be just a bunch of disinformation, and that is why CNN did not release them to the public.
They only reported on their existence.
They never said they were verified as true.

Who knows, Maybe Trump himself was behind this.
Funny how this came out the night before he was scheduled to give his big press conference on his business conflicts.
He is the master of distraction.
I wouldn't put it past him.

OY! This story gets more and more complicated.

4chan users are claiming that they planted the controversial memo about Donald Trump with Republican operative Rick Wilson who managed Evan McMullin’s independent campaign and has been an outspoken critic of Trump, and that he supposedly gave it to the CIA.

Their proof is this post from November 1st.

Image

4Chan Claims To Have Fabricated Anti-Trump Report As A Hoax

But another website says that can't be true because that was posted on 4chan on November 1st and Mother Jones reported on the memos on October 31st.

No, That Trump/Russia Dossier Isn’t an Elaborate 4chan Hoax

Despite Weak Stream of Proof, 4chan Claims It Invented the Trump Golden Showers Story

4chans 'proof' that this memo was a hoax perpetrated by them is very thin, but that didn't stop right wing websites like Drudge and Gateway Pundit from publishing it as fact.

And Rick Wilson flatly denies it.

He Tweeted, “You’re wrong if you believe 1. What we had came from /pol 2. That I was Buzzfeed’s source. Try again, boys." and
"The information was out there looooong before the 4chan posts."

And we already know that John McCain is the one who gave the memo to the FBI (not the CIA).
He admitted that.

Trump said in his press conference today that the memo came from a group of his opponents.

Can you say FAKE News?
