There are thousands of examples of income inequality. Friend of mine works for a huge international company. He told me that they hired a new CEO who had no experience in what he was hired to do, he screwed up the company and left after less than two years. They paid him millions in salary and gave him a golden parachute worth more millions.

Teachers work overtime every day and on weekends, get no pay for it, have the same bills for their Masters degrees that people in other professions do, and get paid half or less than those professions. Plus there is a trend in this country now to get rid of teachers in their 40's because they are 'too old' and get 'paid too much.' They are being accused of things they didn't do in order to make them quit or face criminal charges. Principals replace them with kids out of school, whom they can pay even less.

I have absolutely no sympathy for teachers. They turned me against them many years ago when my kids were in school and the teachers decided to pick favorites. They not only picked favorites, but they had no qualms about embarrassing their non-favorites in from of the class. They did it that then and they undoubtedly do it today!

As for pay, they knew what they were getting into. Let them eat cake....

Can you please post a link to where someone used the threat of lethal force to compel that huge company to overpay their CEO, like what is done with moronic MW laws?

Thanks in advance.

Only if you discount work outside the office.
Teachers on average spend thousands of dollars of their own money on school supplies in addition to hundreds of additional hours outside the school.
You're just retarded as usual.

Do you live in your basement or something? Only someone who never leaves the house could be as consistently wrong as you.

Oh well gosh, the opinion of a Dim like you counts more than the many analyses done by Forbes, National Review, Heritage Foundation and other great sources. :\

For the number of hours worked, taking into account a 9-month year, plus their entire compensation including early retirement with full health care coverage, sick days, personal days and all the other ways to cut their hours while paying them more, they are greatly overcompensated; ranking perhaps in the top 10% or so of income earners in the country.

Even more so considering the low class ranking most Government Monopoly School teachers come from; in the bottom 20%.

It's a classic government pattern, overpaying the undertalented, even incompetent by taking money from those who work harder, take more risks and are better educated.

You're as dumb and ignorant as a freaking rock, Dim.

I'm beginning to think you never went to school. Perhaps elementary school teachers don't have much homework to grade, but if I remember correctly I seem to recall that my high school teachers, particularly my coach, put in at least 80 hours a week.

There are a few dedicated teachers, but that doesn't apply to the average, now does it.

In 8 years I can't remember a single day in Federal service where I showed up to work sober, yet you'd fucking bend over backwards to worship the freedom in which I provided cowards such as yourself. Shit, half the time it was nerdy punk bitches like yourself plowing me with drinks until 2AM in the first place!

What happened to the CON MEME about CEO pay and how the importance of the position as being the driving force behind the incredibly high salaries?

Are CONS claiming teachers are unimportant?

Once again, it just comes down to Richclem not having a good command ofthe facts. His opinion is based on emotional gut feelings and cultural memes that give the impression teachers are lazy and don't do any work, when that's a blatant fucking lie. It's a stereotype. Most teachers are hard-working and get tarnished by a minority of really bad ones who genuinely don't give a fuck. But the average teacher puts in a lot of outside work and spends his own money on supplies.

Since I actually have a teaching degree and worked in the school system, I can confirm that. There were lazy fuck teachers who only cared about summer vacation, but most weren't like that. I know I spent hundreds of dollars getting supplies that my ghetto city school didn't provide for some reason. My class didn't even have enough textbooks for everyone lol. I had to photocopy shit and find an e-book. On top of it, I taught special education, so I had to modify all the materials specifically for individual education plans. I basically had no weekends ever. I spent almost all of it making two weeks worth of detailed, modified lesson plans and reading through materials to make DBQs and other projects/lecture notes.

And on top of that, I had to deal with administration pressuring me to make up grades for kids who weren't even in my class. The kids were LITERALLY IN PRISON at the time. I also had to meet with parents who would insist on getting kids' grades changed and I had a principle tell me face-to-face I should add points to tests.

So Richclem can suck my dick when he says teachers are lazy government monopoly workers. He's got no fucking clue.

People are not generally FORCED to pay the high salaries of CEO's like taxpayers are for public school teachers, moron. If private school teachers were paid even $1 million/yr, and no FORCE whatsoever was being used, then conservatives would have no problem with it.
