Yes, it's still possible that global warming is a serious problem, but it's looking more and more like a huge leftist scam.

Just like when Communism was claiming to be "proven science," (does that ring a bell), there are Useful Idiots today like there were then.

Here's a hilarious piece of idiocy from the Beltway WashPost. :D

Rick Perry is the latest science-rejecting member of Trump’s Cabinet
By Editorial Board
December 14
THE PAST three energy secretaries have been scientists. If President-elect Donald Trump gets his wish, they will be succeeded by a man who has repeatedly attacked science, former Texas governor Rick Perry .

Mr. Perry has a long record on climate change, railing about “doctored data” and “so-called science.” “I t’s all one contrived phony mess that is falling apart under its own weight,” he declared. “Al Gore is a prophet all right, a false prophet of a secular carbon cult.” These were not one-off, casual comments. They were in his 2010 book, “Fed Up!” During his 2012 presidential run, Mr. Perry compared his irresponsible public climate doubting to Galileo’s fact-based stand against the Catholic Church’s ascientific doctrine on the solar system. Unsurprisingly, Mr. Perry’s Texas was a chief foe of the Environmental Protection Agency....

Yet the Energy Department, like the EPA, is a federal agency charged to work on the basis of science and fact, not politics or ideology.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... ba9a3aacf4

Who the heck are you kidding, moonbats? The EPA is thoroughly corrupted by politics.

There wasn't one piece of evidence that Perry is "anti science" other than that he distrusts the EPA.

From the Too-Stupid-to-Make-up file....

Oregon Seeks To Regulate ‘Dangerous, Preventable’ Cow Farts...
Citing the dangers of bovine flatulence, a spokesperson for Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility stated that cow farts are dangerously unregulated and preventable. According to a letter sent to the Senate Committee on Environmental and Natural Resources, in addition to smelling bad and causing global warming, cow farts can irritate your eyes, cause memory loss, and even death.

These are all good things to keep in mind the next time you find yourself eye-level with the business end of a cow. You won’t even remember what killed you.

Any time they hear something they disagree with, liberals bleat,"Fake science, fake science!"

They're the ones promoting Fake Science not only about Global Warming, but about it's supposed solutions.

Batteries: Another green scam
By Viv Forbes
....The idea of producing reliable grid power from intermittent green energy backed up by batteries looks possible in green doodle-diagrams, but would be absurdly inefficient and expensive....

To deliver 100 units of energy in 24 hours will require an extra 75 units of energy to be collected, stored, and delivered by the batteries every sunny day. This will require another three solar units devoted solely to recharging batteries in just six sunny hours.

Some seem to think that scientists are above it all...they are not.

Scientists will do what they have to do to protect their livelihoods just like anyone else.

Skeptics lose their jobs or their funding if they don't go along with the AGW hoax.

AGW is about politics, not science.

More lunacy from the wackjob left.

Just when you think the climatistas can’t get any stoopider, The Nation magazine comes along with this:
The Other Poison Gas Killing Syrians: Carbon Dioxide Emissions
By Juan Cole
Wait! Stop right there? Juan Cole? The noted climate scientist Juan Cole? No: Juan Cole the radical leftist historian at the University of Michigan, a foe of Israel and apologist for the Iranian regime. Anyway. . .

. . . Yet the president and most of his party are committed to increasing the daily release of hundreds of thousands of tons of a far more deadly gas—carbon dioxide. Climate scientist James Hansen has described our current emissions as like setting off 400,000 Hiroshima atomic bombs each day, every day of the year. . .

It really isn't.

It's a simple, scientific fact that the earth's atmosphere is dangerously low on carbon, by any historical standard - has been for hundreds of thousands of years, which has caused multiple ice ages as a direct result.

The science is in - low atmospheric carbon causes ice ages and extinctions.

"The employee continued to be paid for nearly two years after he was caught watching porn. An agent with the EPA's inspector general caught the employee in September 2013, but the employee was not placed on paid leave until eight months later. He received paid leave for nearly a year, and retired in April 2015.

Another EPA employee was caught after a child saw him watching porn at work on "Bring Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day."
"This constitutes a mistake and a lack of judgement on my side and I am sorry for the judgement [sic]," the employee said in a sworn statement.
"He confessed to viewing porn at work, taking about an hour or more during each workday in looking at ‘facebook & twitter accounts' that linked to websites with ‘photos of nude people,'" E&E News reported.
Unlike the other employee, he said he did not masturbate at the EPA."

Neat-o. The guy (taken at facial-value) spewed on his hand and had enough left dripping, after walking the halls, to contaminate his porn-watching site.
He deserved being fired eight months later with one year severance then a retirement. A perv with perks.
