As they say, you had to be there. I guess you weren’t.

Like it.  He’s old and these are stressful times.  If it was legal here I’d smoke it too.

How can you think Biden can win when neither he or his VP are campaigning?
Because the hatred for Trump is go strong that the don''t need to.  Nearly every likely voter already has their mind made up.  Only 3% say they are unsure.  And, the polling looks very good for Biden.

Even at nine it's a problem but notice, they caught the problem so the system is working.

Let the games begin...

"The group, People of Praise, encourages its members to make a covenant. As U.S. Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s name has emerged atop a list of possible replacements for the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court, her long affiliation with a small, Charismatic Christian community in Indiana has drawn fresh attention – in part due to the group’s historical use of the term “handmaid” to describe its female members.

The ecumenical organization, People of Praise, has fought to distance itself from comparisons to the oppressive fictional religious order in the Margaret Atwood book and television adaptation, "The Handmaid’s Tale."

But to Andrew Seidel, a constitutional attorney with the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the symbolic comparisons to Atwood's dystopian narrative invite real and important questions. “There are serious and deep concerns about Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s affiliation with People of Praise and her past comments about the conflict between faith and law,” Seidel said. “Not only is her connection to this community and her previous writings fair to ask about, but senators have a duty to the constitution to ask those questions.”

Libertarians are teenage boys in love with the idea that being selfish is moral.  it isn't.

No argument.

But capitalism is what it is.  You can't just fix healthcare in the country with an executive order.

No, unless they promise to vote a certain way if he paid their fine.  Otherwise it's just a Get Out The Vote effort, and entirely legal.

Play the player, play the position, not the cards.

And never lump in with your ilk.  I'd sooner you up against the wall than join you in anything.

Hitler learned it from us, slaughtering the Native Americans.

You don't need German history when you have American history.

"Democrats are not admitting defeat. But they are looking beyond election day, to the possibility of blocking the appointment – if Mr Biden wins and they take the Senate – or, for progressives in particular, to the nuclear option: enlarging or restructuring the supreme court (and, potentially, adding Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia as states, rebalancing the Senate).

This would, surely, further exacerbate divisions in a desperately fractured nation. But for Republicans, it would be the sound of chickens coming home to roost. Though Mr McConnell and his cronies are not swayed by the kind of moral suasion Justice Ginsburg embraced, they should remember that what they do now will be neither forgiven nor forgotten."

Florida voters approved a measure in 2018 to restore felons' voting rights after they've completed their sentences.
But Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) then signed a law that said felons would only get their voting rights back after they've not only served out their prison terms, but also paid any outstanding fines and penalties.

Nice.
