This is one of those rate occassilns where I am in agreement with Rebel. GW is correct. Even if he Obama was from Kenya nothing would change at this time.

The law required pregnant women to get an ultrasound -- and to have the fetus described to them -- before having an abortion.

I can support striking down that law.

Higher GOVERNMENT CAFE standards plus artificially manipulated fuel prices leads to manufacturers building cars with less metal and more plastics to reduce weight.

What part of I agree with you did you not understand? I am completely for legalization of marijuana to the extent you desire.

Put down your bong and nod if you understand.

"I did nothing illegal" - didn't Blago make that same claim, right up to his conviction and indeed, to the present day?

Yup, he did. My point is he was convicted. McDonnell hasn't yet.

Yes, he's such a stand up guy. When I think of honorable, stand up guys, the first thing that comes to mind are crack head elected officials who are forced to resign in disgrace.

I didn't say he was a standup guy or honorable. I think any representative found guilty or a crime or serious ethics violations like tax evasion should step down.

Regardles of trying to maintain control of one house or the other.

If this were terrorism this administration would be drawing multiple red lines, blaming movie trailers, and looking to appease the fanatical muslim world by giving speeches in Cairo.

Even the progs have to man up and admit, contrary to the words of Obama, this is far from settled science. This is getting bad.

Execitive orders are how presidents run the executive branch. That is what they are for. It is not the number of executive orders that are important. It the content of those orders. Executive orders, regardless of who is president, are not supposed to be used to skirt the law. They are not supposed to be used to tell the Justice Department to not enforce this law or to implement policy that congress won't pass.

Who cares who had more executive orders. The critical question is what are the executive orders used for.

At a fire, firemen have a big presence with their trucks, ladders, and flashing lights. People are certainly aware of the fire. But the firemen did not start it. They are responding to it. The race divide was started and is kept alive by conservatives. Liberals merely respond to it.

Conservatives instituted the Jim Crow / segregation systems, conservatives populated and continue to populate the KKK and other white supremacist groups, and the ridiculous rub is that it appears over half of "conservatives" on this board think liberals did those things because they were done by Democrats. There are actually people out there who don't know the histories of the Democratic and Republican Parties. And in any event to think liberals would write restrictive race laws like that, keeping blacks from voting, education, jobs; lynching them and all the rest would be like saying Republicans supported Jimmy Carter for president and think he was one of America's greatest. Such mendacity is understandable-- no one wants to admit that his political forebears were racists or that leaders of his party are keeping at it, trying as they are to keep blacks and Hispanics from voting. Doesn't justify it, though.

What a bunch of bullshit relative to the topic.

Tjhe gist of my comments to this point had to do with the liberal bullshit that republicans/cons don't like obama because he is black. Using your sides argument the logic says that cons would support Obama policy if he was white. I call bullshit.

Tell us sally why then were cons opposed to clinton, gore, kerry and hiliry poliies? If they supported those policies and suddenly stopped their support with Obama your side would have a fucking argument.

The problem is you can not promote his policies over the last 5 years because they suck. If they were successful you would not be playing the race card to blame for his failures. People like you are why we will never move beyond the race issue. You fight to keep it allive and well thru disingenous rhetoric.

And the country suffers because of your bullshit. I hope you are proud.

The name is skews, spritz, and after the way they told him to fuck off on the ACA, he owes them nothing. Maybe when the union leaders tell the boys down at the hall that they are going to have to continue being on the books, and drawing UE, instead of a paycheck, they'll thing long and hard about it next time. What are they going to do spritz, vote Republican?

When they get to the point that supporting the dems is running counter to collecting a paycheck they just might do that. I suggest you look into the coal miner unions in WV and their rethinking of political support.

You are still on edge Prattle. You really need to take that trip to Colorado. Some wine, a bong, and a massage should help control your temper.

Let post this for you:
