And some time later, the trend will go the other way. Thinking that one party is going to simply cease to exist is a fool's thought

Re: Which Corporation$/Products Should Pro-Choice People Boycott?

A large scale boycott would be successful but this is virtually impossible in today's world. To get thousands (millions) to do anything... is quite the task. Folks work for their own self interest and that puts politics down on the pecking order.

Re: Which Corporation$/Products Should Pro-Choice People Boycott?

So the idea is that leftists would start boycotting companies opened by openly Conservative CEO's. If you look at the list here just for some examples of Conservative CEO's, three of the five are oil and gas companies. I can't see any large scale boycott of these three happening. As for the last one...

Re: Abolish The Electoral College IT does not allow every vote to count

I use Va as an example.  Much of this state is rural/suburban and those areas lean conservative.  BUT we have 5 or 6 large urban areas that lean democrat and those areas drive elections in majority state elections for governor and senator.   This is from the previous governors race that Northampton...

Yeah, that has always been my argument.  I have lived in the most “City of the Cities” in NYC.  I have lived in the burbs.  I have lived in rural Al.  I have lived in Alaska.  And now I live in Hampton Roads Va in the burbs where 5 minutes one way is urban and 5 minutes the other is rural.  I have ...

Re: Abolish The Electoral College IT does not allow every vote to count

A while ago on the .org a poster that I can't recall laid out numerically how much a person's vote counts for. It was a measure of voting population divided by electoral votes. Yes, it did show that WY citizens get proportional more influence that CA and so on. However, the differences were pretty m...

Re: New York City

I've never been to St. Louis.  But, St. Louis has been a hotbed of rioting and protesting - not a place I'd be interested in visiting for at least the next 10 years. True. Well, the bed is made though so no going back. The humidity is going to take some getting used to. We have practically no humid...

Why is that? I know nothing about the midwest other than two quick trips to Minneapolis in 2017 and Kansas City in 2020.

It's obvious that you care very much when the Double Standards of Libtards are being exposed.
That's what this thread topic is about.
It has nothing to do with caring...that's just you grasping at straws.

I'm curious to hear how everything went! Trip is not until Mid-August. If I did this trip 20 years ago, I would have done virtually no planning. However, being a parent for now 8.5 years... the planning bug is firmly rooted. It drives my nephew nuts but oh well, it is what it is. It was his idea to...

Empathy for the plight of the child. Same reason people don't support slavery despite never being in a position to own a slave. Same reason murder isn't covered under privacy rights, there is a human victim being killed. Their rights should be given some consideration, even the black ones ./images/...

If you can answer in an honest and direst way which race has a 75% Bastard Rate and which race has the highest rate [dependency]  on abortions...? The need for abortions reflects on a lack of forward thinking ability, impulse control and sense of responsibility. Gee whiz... do we know of any races ...

No big deal  . . .  they'll raise taxes on other goods ! Gas perhaps ? Ammo and guns ? If one is being purely objective, you are correct on them just raising taxes on other things. Next target would be items like alcohol, hotel rooms, or small business taxes. I find it interesting (i know that you ...

Gosh, I'm an ex-NY'er. You're not going to get mugged unless you look like a tourist. Don't be carrying a backpack while walking the streets at night. Try to look like a normal person. :-)  The only time I almost got mugged is because my girlfriend gave money to a homeless person. Then we got follo...

Normally, I'd say you are a bit paranoid.  But, NY these days, with all these protests and everything, 4th of July coming up and NY pretty raw over the overturning of their gun law - I think you are probably doing the wise thing. Hope you know how to use this kind of thing!  Personally, I would hav...

I freely admit that abortion is not a topic that gets me fired up. I am simply honest enough to know that I do not care passionately about every topic.
