I paid cash for my computer, so did you, through corporate subsidies to high tech industry that developed it.. Thanks Ceadar ! :D I paid for the computer once, you will pay a bit towards many every time you make or spend a dollar. ;)

Micro electronics especially microprocessors were an outgrowth of the NASA demand for smaller and lighter electronics for space missions. It was not subsidized silly. It was the demand NASA had for electronics.

Good Lord who the fuck do you think funds NASA? The chip was an outgrowth of the transistor, developed by bell labs, funded and subsidized by the govt..

Major contradiction, man. There's a synergy in what you typed that goes way above your head. The government employs the product of capitalism. Without that "employ" your capitalists don't make as much money. Plus, there's the blatant subsidizing of all technology that capitalism relies on and the infrastructure with which it moves it around the country. Capitalism without socialism is impossible. You can't find a pure example of it in the world.

So how come the best things come from independent companies doing their own research for better products. Also lone inventors come up with much of the innovation. You progressives think that the sun rises and falls with the government. What happened to the billions given to the green energy companies to help them become profitable??? Down the drain of bankruptcy. Your great Obama gave quite a few of them a massive amount of money. What was the answer from one of the people involved in giving that money? "I told you energy is expensive!" So giving government money to these failed companies is part of the expense. Great things happening in government subsidies to create something in green energy.

I wouldn't worry about it PPU.
According to Anderson economic cycle theory, socialism will have run it's course
and be dead or almost dead by 2033. We can wait em out.

You are the Idiot that doesn't know how NASA is funded. THERE WOULD BE NO HIGH TECH INDUSTRIES WITHOUT GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES. FYI: the nuclear power industry couldn't even float without government subsideis. You don't love capitalism, you don't know shit about it. You have a head full of kool aid and "Romantic notions" about capitalism. You are a chump aren't you ? You know this little about the American economy and you are going to debate economics and the Banking sector !?

You call my "Opinion" Inane but you don't know what it is. I merely stated facts about capitalism. No where did I share my "Opinion" of it. You cannot even formulate an argument to explain you position on it, you simply ham handedly spam the thread with your contradictory and inaccurate "Pro Capitalist Meme". I would say that you are the you with the "Inane" opinion. I don't believe you know very much about economics, If you did, you could do better than spamming us all with the same meme over and over. It's not witty, it's demonstrating a lack of knowledge on you part. I must admit this behavior suits you nicely though, by all means, carry on. ;)

I'm not wasting time arguing with a close minded true believer like you. Capitalism is more efficient than socialism. That is all my "spam" represents. I'm sure you'll want to cite all kinds of economic stats you got from some lefty school ya went to, but I'm not interested.

Then he'll be dead, too. He's a gimp on public relief. Ask him.

Believer of what ? You haven't asked be what I believe. I would say "The close minded one" its the one making conclusions with no facts to back them. You have done this both with my supposed "Opinion" of capitalism and my "True beliefs" in what exactly ? If you are not talking out you ass, then you should be able to point out where you found evidence of my true beliefs. Do you have any example of Capitalism "Being more efficient" ? What "Lefty economic stats" have I cited ? Can you link us to them or quote them ? I suspect not as I did not such thing. What evidence do you have that I am a "Lefty" ? I would bet the farm its same amount you have to support your supposed knowledge of my opinion, my true believes, where I went to school and weather or not I can be quantified sufficiently in a 2 dimensional right/left political scale. The manner in which you pretend to know about me is the same manner in which you pretend to know about Capitalism I suspect, that is with zero evidence to support your beliefs. If you are familiar with the supposed "efficientcies of Capitalism" then you should have very little trouble explaining them to us. Go ahead, explain your position to us. I would love to hear it.

No one buys that, what's far more likely is that you lack the sophistication necessary to mount an effective argument in favor of "Capitalist efficiency". They us what you really think, you do think don't you ? ;)
