Yes, I am a social conservative, like most ****** - and a fiscal liberal, like most ******. I also speak ebonics, like most ****** - but I don't try to pass it off as being the equivalent of a language, because I'm not a retarded token ****** professor who got his degree for his color and not for his aptitudes or competencies. I grew up in a forcibly integrated school, where the population was probably 60-40 white to black, with the whites walking from home and the blacks bussed in. We also had a hawaiian kid who was honorary white.

We had a crip on our campus, but that word meant something different during the aftermath of the polio epidemic. We had another kid with prosthetics. He had a flipper where one hand belonged, and rumor had it, a blow hole. I wanted to use him as an instrument in a jug band, but he had no interest in being a musical instrument. Never knew that kid's name. Even at roll call he was referred to as Spare Parts.

Before I mastered ebonics, I would hear the darkies calling each other blood. So one day I addressed a group of them as bleed - seemed proper to me. But then, I had a friend who worked at a lab studying human liver disease and in need of study subjects. So I made him a Hep Wanted sign. I'm a smart mouth, is the general direction of travel, here. It's not that I want to be offensive - I don't.

It's that I need to be.

Yes, which is why the cretin who first replied to me in this thread about Unz's "far-right bias" or "extremist bias" made me laugh at his face.

As John Cleese might say, "If you're really stupid, how can you possibly know that you are really, really stupid?"
LOL, yup

99% folks in political chat rooms have a left/right chip on the shoulder.  Its an embarrassing team mentality that dominates their thinking.

That paradigm is very rudimentary in understanding politics both foreign and domestic.

Once you start breaking down neoliberalism, neo-colonialism, banking cartels etc....they become lost little souls with talking points

I agree ZHedge has a bit of a right bias, but UNZ  may have a Pat Buchanan article right to a socialist article that could be found on CounterPunch

I will reconsider MoA then, but still remain a bit wary.

BTW, I have one final comment/note to you before I bow out of this thread (since it's already served its purpose). If - or I should say, WHEN - the American Empire collapses, you can expect (I assume you live in the US and are not an expat) the standard of living to rapidly collapse due to the rigged nature of the "international reserve currency." This was essentially what happened in the USSR; I think the Soviet currency lost something like 73% of its value over the span of one week.

I especially do not wish that upon the laboring peons/peasants/commoners, who need the money to survive, but I believe it is inevitable. I take a sober view on the subject now.

It is an inevitable turning point in future American history, and yes, it means dropping fewer bombs on brown people like those in Libya, Syria, Iraq, but it will also cause much financial pain to those who are too ignorant to see behind the curtain and will fail to prepare (which is like...90% of the population, lol).

Kind of like Wall St - yeah, you know the **** market is rigged by the big players (Goldman Sachs, Blackrock, the Fed), the SEC doesn't care about fake earnings reports/insider trading, etc. but whenever the stock market collapses, people lose their jobs and many commit suicide.

They have taken the commoners hostage, the commoners don't realize it, and the party will end someday.
MOA is one of about 10 independent researchers/journalists that a support through Patreon.  Like you, I believed his views on the virus were heavy handed.  He, however, has been invaluable to me over the years in understanding eternal US wars and neoliberalism.  Someone who is on par with him, but takes the 180 degree opposite view on the virus is Eva Bartlett.  She resides in Syria and has reported on Syria extensively.  I follow her on Twitter and YT.  She is highly respected in the anti-Empire field of "truth-tellers"

The Empire is built on a fake propped up US dollar - as you know.  Also by control of the petrodollar as well as the use of sanctions.
This is a mafia.  It operates like a mafia.  Sadly, the US military is little more than "MUSCLE" for the corporate mafia.
I believe once a person understands this then most issues/events fall into place in your understanding.

I tend to separate or distinguish AMERICA from THE AMERICAN EMPIRE.  This Empire is simply a leech and has little to do with America other than using tax payers as a SLUSH FUND.

Like you I fear the consequences of end of Empire - no clue what that looks like domestically.  When I say "crumble" I by no means cease to exist or becomes a wasteland.  I simply mean the US becomes just another Italy, Greece or England.

They died minutes apart, in fact.

I mourned neither man, as both had died before, many times.
