Pro-Trump Trucks Tried Running Biden Bus Off The Road

A pro-Trump convoy of cars and trucks – possibly encouraged by Donald Trump Jr. – apparently targeted a Biden campaign bus carrying a number of top Texas Democratic candidates and a vehicle altercation followed, leading Democrats to cancel the bus tour.



Texas state legislator Sheryl Cole announced the cancelation of a joint event with the Biden campaign bus and the Austin Young Democrats in Texas for “security reasons,” accusing the Trump supporters of having “escalated well beyond safe limits.”

Cole cited Travis County Democratic Party Chair Katie Naranjo, who alleged the Trump supporters “followed the Biden bus throughout central Texas” and “ran into a person’s car, yelling curse words and threats,” along with photos of a damaged car, while Texas State Rep. Rafael Anchía tweeted the Trump supporters were “armed” and were “ramming volunteer vehicles & blocking traffic for 40 mins.”

Numerous videos posted to social media show a half dozen trucks sporting pro-Trump flags and decals surrounding a Trump bus and an accompanying white SUV, with one video posted by a Biden campaign volunteer showing a truck ramming the SUV on the side as it attempted to regain its place behind the bus.

A Biden campaign spokesperson told Forbes the trucks “attempted to slow the bus down and run it off the road,” that local law enforcement was called in to help the bus reach its destination and offboard passengers and that an event at the Texas AFL-CIO was canceled out of an “abundance of caution.”

A Biden Bus carrying several prominent Texas Democratic candidates from San Antonio to Austin on Friday was forced to cancel a campaign stop in San Marcos and at other events, including a rally in Austin, after dozens of vehicles flying Trump flags swarmed around it on I-35, sparking safety concerns.

The bus was leaving a campaign event in San Antonio as part of a “Battle for the Soul of the Nation” tour staged by Democrats as U.S. Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris campaigned in other parts of the state.

Aboard the bus were Wendy Davis, the Democrat who is running against incumbent Republican Chip Roy for the 21st Congressional District; Democratic Congressman Rep. Lloyd Doggett, who represents District 35; and Roland Gutierrez, a candidate for Texas senate District 19.

Members of the Trump Train also allegedly damaged a white SUV and cursed at Biden supporters.

Randi Ceh, wife of Trump Train NB Founder Steve Ceh, posted a video on her Facebook page showing trucks and cars surround the bus as it drove through New Braunfels.

At 16 seconds in, the white SUV went into the trump truck's lane and caused a collision.

There is zero evidence that Biden ordered the assault, or even that the white SUV was part of the biden party. But there SHOULD be an investigation since this is felony assault if it was deliberate.
