Oh, did you just make up that interpretation?  Where does it mention that in the 2nd Amendment?  Are you even aware of the African genocide in Rwanda using solely a machete to murder a million innocent civilians in the mid-1990's in just 100 days?  They didn't need assault weapons or bombs, did they?  Do you think that genocide would have been possible if the natives had firearms to defend themselves with in the same number as Americans now have?

So why don't you strain your tiny brain for a moment and explain how it is that those cities with the toughest gun laws have the highest rates of illegal shootings and killings?  Isn't it obvious even to a lib like you that if law-abiding people were free to arm themselves in order to defend against the armed criminals in those cities you liberals allow to roam free that there would be far lower numbers of innocents shot or killed?

I swear, there is NOTHING dumber than a liberal!

OH, so since that's ILLEGAL, it has nothing to do with the 3% number of LEGAL gun owners committing crimes, right?
So good of you to admit it!

U think those slaughtered with machetes didn't have their own machetes?
Yeah, that kind of defense sure was successful for that million of men, women, and children that were hacked to death, wasn't it?  Think the number would have been different if they were armed with guns against the soldiers armed with machetes?  Ponder that for a few minutes, why don't you?

Ponder if the soldiers would have also had AK-47s.

We need to hold gun manufacturers libel with traceable gun & bullet identity codes.  PUT THE CHILD KILLING ******* OUT OF BUSINESS!

Happy to:
New survey confirms majority of guns used by criminals are taken from people’s homes and cars
Behind the Badge BY JOE VARGAS ON JANUARY 10, 2019

Sadly, robberies, aggravated assaults, gang shootings, and a myriad of gun crimes are an every day occurrence in cities across the country. A day doesn’t go by when you can’t read, see, or hear about a gun-related crime on the news.Of course it begs the question, how do these crooks get guns? Well, they don’t buy them at retail outlets, gun shows, or on the internet. That is one of the findings from the latest Bureau of Justice Statistics report, “Source and Use of Firearms Involved in Crimes: Survey of Prison Inmates 2016“.
Thousands of prison inmates were surveyed across the United States with specific questions on how they obtained firearms. The results showed less than 2 percent of the prisoners surveyed obtained a firearm from a retail source. So where did they get the guns? The answer is simple. They got them from people who had legally purchased them but didn’t secure them. Most of the firearms used by prisoners during the commission of their crimes were stolen, either by the crook themselves or bought from someone else who had stolen it.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough: Tiny fraction of crimes committed with legal guns

About "3 percent of murders and crimes are committed with guns from people who actually (legally) purchase those guns."
Politifact

...out of all violent crimes, 3 percent involve a legally purchased firearm. But it’s also possible that he was thinking that out of a smaller set of violent crimes -- those involving a firearm -- the firearm was purchased legally 3 percent of the time.

Thanks for showing us how much you hate the US Constitution, only the greatest document the world has ever known, which gives the right to the PEOPLE instead of to the government for the first time in history!  You don't like the 2nd Amendment?  THEN GO TRY TO CHANGE IT!  And when you fail, acknowledge the fact that a liberal dope like you DOES NOT represent the vast majority of the country!

You'd clearly be far more comfortable in a nice socialist dictatorship where people would be required to bow down to their political leaders who hold the power of life and death over them and their entire lives!  Submissive sheep like you feel far more comfortable in a nanny state, as you've proven.

You should try Venezuela!  There's money lying in the streets there for you to pick up!:

There only about 400,000 to 500,000 weapons of war on the civilian market.  They cost thousands of dollars to get and a long process.

There are millions of weapons of war on the market and you can get one for $50 bucks with no paperwork at all

No, weapons of war on the market have to have been manufactured before 1986.

Factually incorrect.  I shot many weapons on active duty that were not fully auto.

I guess you never served

I did not know the personal weapon of payroll clerks or cooks was a sidearm. Because you carried it did not make it a weapon of war.
