Which makes the easy and effortless way he sends progressives into a frothing rage all the more amusing. Last four years were comedy gold.

The recent COVID-19 numbers now show that out of the 23 worst states for the virus in the country, 21 of them voted for Donald Trump in the last election.

The Washington Post revealed that of the 23 states in the country that exceed the national COVID average, all but two of those are from Republican states.

"This isn't a game," President Joe Biden said Friday about governors who aren't taking the pandemic seriously.

Sadly, the same high numbers for COVID cases apply to COVID deaths. Of the 18 states that have higher death rates than the national average, 14 voted for Trump. For vaccinations, the statistic shows the 17 least-vaccinated states (except for Georgia) voted for Trump.

The chain of correlation makes it "much harder to assert that politics is not playing a role," wrote the Post's correspondent Philip Bump.

"Republicans have been less concerned about the virus, less likely to embrace practices such as masking, more likely to express opposition to vaccination and (obviously) voted more heavily for Trump," said Bump. "States that are seeing the most new cases and deaths are states that are less heavily vaccinated and were more supportive of Trump last year."

There are still many Republicans who say that they will never get the vaccine, which could lead to further red-state infections and deaths.

Those who haven't been vaccinated may have survived COVID-19, but given the rapid pace that the virus is evolving, it's possible people could begin getting it again.
TLDR

On the bright side, natural immunity is better than the patent-pending chemical.
Plus the side-effects aren't much worse.

Chinese biological weapon?  You mean the Trump Virus?  That's Chinese?  That's weird.

Unless you ask people who actually know anything.  They'll tell you the vaccine is much more effective.

But I know it's fun for simpletons to just believe whatever they want to believe.  You know what else I heard is true?  Gravity is a hoax. It's a lie.  You can actually leap off the roof of a 7-storey building and you'll just hover in mid-air.

You should try it.  I heard about it on Fox News.

Trump didn't fund gain of function on bats borne coronaviruses in Wuhan China, that would strangely enough be Saint Fauci.

The fact natural immunity isn't being considered with these mandates indicates this has **** all to do with the science you claim to worship.

No, Trump DID fund the research.  He lifted the ban that was put in place on Obama's watch, pending further review.

Trump Virus.

Natural immunity HAS been considered and evaluated in terms of its efficacy as compared to the vaccine.

I didn't actually claim to worship science.

And the verdict is mixed. It provides some resistance to re infection. If the vaccines maintained their high rate of provided immunity then perhaps we could be critical of acquired immunity, but they don't. Whether natural immunity or genetic experiment acquired, the immunity is fading in efficacy. Vaccination is predictably leading to more vaccine resistant strains.

The verdict isn't mixed.  The vaccine works.  When it stops working you get another one, just like the flu shot.  There is no way to do that with natural immunity.  If you don't want a vaccine, don't get one.

Actually, in areas of extreme, unmitigated spread is where the variants emerge.  The Delta variant started in India when they had their massive surge last spring......LONG before they had vaccines there.
