In the spirit of the site's improvement and customer satisfaction,
I took it upon myself to get some feedback.

Some threads get lots of play, some get forced.
I'm not making a value judgement with this statement (either has its merits and/or otherwise.)

Choose up to three options.

You can change your mind and re-vote after commentary worms its way through our super-intelligent crowd.

--

I've never set up a poll before - hopefully I did it poorpprlee.

I was thinking a sticky thread that has a "Hot Topic" label should stay longer.

Seems like a vote for #7 option 'up/down'.
Good support suggestion.

There are sometimes THREE stickied threads.
Not sure how or why this happens.
I'm not complaining; it's an observation. Super-users, I guess.

Maybe a third sticky should cost three times as much.
A fourth sticky ten times as much.

Seems like Stickied Threads are annoying in various ways...

I'm starting to like the 7th option.
Add a way to rate them. Enough down rates makes the stickied thread go away sooner.

I believe they last for 36 hours.
So every "down" rating knocks off an hour.
Every two "up" ratings cancels one "down".
You can only vote once an hour.

SOK MANIA!!!

really doesn't matter as long as whatever policies used work equally, I noticed how certain threads last weeks and others 24 hours, some fewer. Again, I am privileged to be allowed to post at all so since I repay the kindness with a little biological honesty, fair trade is accomplished.

I am 70% sure this whole issue has come up because I sticky my own threads and those seeking my removal from this site are raising hell and since they donate and I don't...........tick tock. Standup stage open mike night might be my next posting site.

You are assuming again... as usual.

I said right in the OP that I took it upon myself...
Nobody brought anything to anyone's attention.

You are merely annoying; ultimately not that important.

You just post ****,
you don't donate (never knew that - I don't care),
now I see you didn't even vote.

Are you going to sit there and cry or vote? Image   Image

assuming isn't a bad thing if one is willing to adjust from theories and theologies to actual kinetic results mutually evolving spontaneously going on simultaneously here.

It's the being intellectual inaccurate compared to deliberately ignoring the kinetics of the situation. Once my brain gets corrected, another planned obsolescence and plausible deniability evaporates.

You can wait a long time for your brain to "get corrected".
That may never happen.

Are you reading Self Help books too? Put them down; they don't work.
Dream interpretations probably do more good... Image

Too chicken to make a choice in front of people?
8 choices and you can't quite muster enough coherent thought to choose one.

Vote and notice the change in your very life...

really, you care to bet your sole time remaining on that? Your contextual soul is as shallow as syllables in the wind.

It's not a permanent prison, ya jackass.
It's choosing a preference from the available options.

You are a little yellow-belly after all. So afraid to live life right in front of you.

You blather that embarrassingly incoherent tripe by the truckload and
yet are afraid to look foolish making a simple choice like this.

Get your meds rebalanced, buddy.

law of the land makes it different than what you say it is. You won't discuss things more than literally spelled out in scripture, legal code, traditional family ideologies to the numerators of social divide to population occupying time in the atmosphere now.

I respect the corruption around me because mob rule authority can justify me being erased from historically lived in this atmosphere and by experience my family will be attacked first and after their futures are destroyed it's my turn to be put to rest.

I understand life without mystery tours of what if and what about has done ancestrally to date. risk and reward. Side with symbolism of stand the test of time.
