Directly tied to cancel culture, vicarious outrage is endemic and has metastasized. If you are genuinely offended or persecuted that is one thing, if you are angry for the treatment of another you should let them voice the concern. This has killed comedy and any hopes for an honest open dialog. Progress requires hard discussions, it will require some hurt feelings.

Yeah it all started with the Dixie chicks. And the right wing was fine with it till they got canceled.

And I called out the right wing's hypocrisy over the dixie chicks

But I'm not a stupid broad with zero standards and no sense, as you are.

When can we look forward to YOU calling out YOUR side, fruity? Instead of the weak and predictable yabbutchu ****?

The right wing was all good with cancel culturing Hollywood during the red scare. It's nothing new in America.

The only thing that changed is republicans are getting cancel cultured now and they can't stand they are being held responsible for their actions and words now.

That's the truth of it.

You see cancel culture was all good to republicans when they decided who and how they got canceled. Now that the act is being used against them they hate it. It's faux outrage when the principle is used the same way they used it in the past.

They were wrong 65 years ago, the left is wrong today. Which is more relevant?

Funny some of the most vocal critics of cancel culture are liberals. Bill Maher and Ricky Gervais aren't exactly conservative icons. Dave Chappelle isn't a republican.

Cancel culture is a violation of free speech.

I remember the outrage against Kaepernick for kneeling at the national anthem. He was righteous

I'll tell you what's more **** relevant.  Sixty-five years ago the Democratic Party wasn't full to the gills with insurrectionist/seditionist traitors...willing to trash American democracy for occupancy of the Oval Office and a few more seats in congress. That what's relevant.

Communists were infiltrating academia and Hollywood, we owe McCarthy an apology. Right wingers are patriotic defenders of the constitution, their left wing counterparts despise America.

You talking about the conservatives that attacked the capital on lies and tried to stop the peaceful transfer of power under the constitution. And the president that didn't know what the constitutional duty of the vice president was at the time of the attack and falsely told his people that the vice president had dictator powers on the subject?. Hmmmm your virtue signaling is funny.

Which never happened. A group of angry idiots invaded the Capitol to protest a vote. They never had any chance of taking over the government or stopping the peaceful transition of power. How much government and state business did the blm protests interfere with?

But it became a republican tag line after the stop the steal **** was shut down to keep idiot cons from committing suicide.
