My personal opinion on Cuba is we should have normalized relations decades ago.

I agree with that, because the embargo, whatever form it has taken, has not made any difference.
If there are a large number of US tourists in Cuba, and Cubans in the US are free to come and go with money and imports, it will  most likely change the public sentiment more against the repression of the present regime. Diaz Canel is not a Castro and has very little charisma.

Made a difference when our expressed goal was regime change in Cuba. Now it's just **** cruelty for no reason.  We don't want/need regime change in Cuba. It's not a priority. Seems any pain caused from remaining sanctions are baseless and purposeless.

Ukrainians gave Russian soldiers poisoned food. Improperly maintained tanks and trucks constantly break down. The T-72 tank has design problems and has a "Jack in the box" turret. T-90 tanks were not sent in the beginning and now are finally deployed. 3 T-90 have been destroyed. The latest tank "Armata" has not been deployed at all. Complete air defense and comm. systems were abandoned intact. The Army has a desertion problem. Comm. tech. is ancient and Army comm. were not encrypted. A general was killed when he used a smartphone for comm. Call and location were hacked. Prisoners and intercepted calls say the initial attacks were farcical with officers not knowing what to do when objectives were reached. Army tactics are abysmal and set the Armor up for ambush. Up to 1000 tanks may have been destroyed. There is little to no co-ordination between the Army and the air force. The air force is losing the latest planes because they run out of guided munitions. Fighters drop dumb bombs. These munitions need the fighters to go low at reduced speeds. This makes them vulnerable to manpads. If the push to Kiev was a feint it was a costly one. Entire BTG's and all the equipment was captured or destroyed. Putin is in the process of removing the entire General staff. I could go on and on. The entire Russian Army is a joke.

Propaganda. Doesn't matter if the Russian army is a joke. Military objectives as stated have been accomplished. Trayvons mom, it don't matta how dey do in a fist fight, they has a gun. **** will end badly for all if our propaganda succeeds.

I don't either but it's becoming far more likely than I am comfortable with. "Steps to bathe your pet after exposure to a nuclear detonation" tells me that this is being sold to the public as an acceptable and manageable outcome. Dunno. Do know that telling Russia their security concerns were baseless and that Ukraine was being fast tracked into nato made further negotiations moot. If Ukraine would have agreed to remain neutral I think the war would have been delayed or limited to donbas.
