At one time I treated subjects like Trump/Gop Inspired Racism, Fascism in Trump's America, and the usual retrogressive cruelties of the GOP in general as if they were separate topics of discussion. But it has increasingly become apparent, to me, and to MANY others, INCLUDING some conservatives, that they are all symptomatic of the same malignant PESTILENCE.
And though there has long been a preponderance of increasingly virulent evidence of that fact (including some of the vile representations hate based, sociopathic MENTALITIES, herein), nothing (imo) quite put the rubber stamp on it like the actions Republicans took in Texas this weekend,
actions not SO coincidentally COINCIDING with the Juneteenth memorial holiday which commemorates the time when, following the treasonous southern rebellion for their "god given rights" to enslave another man
federal forces had to go down to TEXAS, to tell the stubbornly resisting rabble who were still trying to enslave Black people that their "slaves" had been declared free.
So it'd figure that on that particular occasion Texas Republicans would declare the Biden presidency "illegitimate" (because a whole lot of Black people voted for him and "everyone" knows Black votes are "illegitimate" because Black people "aren't real Americans"...hell Moscow Mitch said so himself),
and at the same time they'd reject the 1965 Voting Rights Act that reaffirmed said "not real Americans" the RIGHT TO VOTE.
And, while these fascists were on a roll, they also proclaimed all LGBTQ people (and gay marriages) an "abomination," they advocated again for secession, and (for good measure) reportedly ALSO tried to incorporate support for the attempted COUP of America's democracy into there OFFICIAL PARTY PLATFORM.
Add to that the threats, intimidation, and actions of their domestic terrorists, their conspiracy to rig the vote in their favor, their political ads and rhetoric endorsing political violence, their threats of violence against even fellow Republicans and their children, their obstructionism, their radicalized far right Supreme Court, their hate filled rhetoric, their demonization of anyone not toeing their fascist party LINE, and all the rest,
and what we've got is a FASCIST POLITICAL CULT PARTY WHOSE OFFICIAL PLATFORM IS THAT OF HATE, INTOLERANCE, INTIMIDATION, AND TERROR.
And in this thread, I'll be showcasing that in greater detail, and hopefully without the trolling, spamming, hate speech, personal attacks, and drive by **** postings by those whose PRIMARY purpose was to obscure TRUTH behind a wall of pure ****.

The party produced a document fully in tune with its fascist base; declaring non-allegiance to the elected leader of the United States is only the capper in a Texas Republican platform riddled with conspiracy and brazenly fascist rhetoric.
The party again asserts that Texas has a right to secede from the United States, because of course it does. It also demands a new Constitutional convention to rewrite the founding documents of the nation it demands the right to leave.

Former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) on Tuesday issued a dire warning about the mindset of Republican primary voters.
Walsh talked with host Brianna Keilar about a new ad released this week by Missouri GOP Senate candidate Eric Greitens in which he waved around a gun and threatened to "hunt" Republicans who were thwarting ... Donald Trump's "America First" agenda.
When asked by Keilar whether Greitens would pay a political price for such an inflammatory ad, Walsh replied that just the opposite would occur.
"This will help him, Brianna, like that Republican candidate up in Michigan who was arrested for participating in January 6th," he said. "Look, America needs to wrap her arms around the fact that the base, the voting base, of one of our two major political parties... is fully radicalized."
"Most republican voters no longer believe in truth," he said.
"They've given up on democracy."
"They want a strong man to rule."
"And they want their political opponents destroyed or killed."
"This ain't fringe anymore in the Republican Party."

who seem to take personal satisfaction from random acts of aggression, intimidation, threats and assault upon various minority members of society who THEY deem as un-American, undesirable, or something "other"
and who, to this day, remain in steadfast defense and DENIAL of the right winged terrorist led attack upon our nation's Capitol in an attempted authoritarian ASSAULT UPON DEMOCRACY ITSELF...
Ever notice how THEY are the SAME mfkrs who are the FIRST to show up to lament some act or even potential act of violence from the LEFT??
As if all of a sudden they're concerned about VIOLENCE??

So it'd figure that on that particular occasion Texas Republicans would declare the Biden presidency "illegitimate" (because a whole lot of Black people voted for him and "everyone" knows Black votes are "illegitimate" because Black people "aren't real Americans"...hell Moscow Mitch said so himself),
and at the same time they'd reject the 1965 Voting Rights Act that reaffirmed said "not real Americans" the RIGHT TO VOTE.
And, while these fascists were on a roll, they also proclaimed all LGBTQ people (and gay marriages) an "abomination," they advocated again for secession, and (for good measure) reportedly ALSO tried to incorporate support for the attempted COUP of America's democracy into there OFFICIAL PARTY PLATFORM.
Add to that the threats, intimidation, and actions of their domestic terrorists, their conspiracy to rig the vote in their favor, their political ads and rhetoric endorsing political violence, their threats of violence against even fellow Republicans and their children, their obstructionism, their radicalized far right Supreme Court, their hate filled rhetoric, their demonization of anyone not toeing their fascist party LINE, and all the rest,
and what we've got is a FASCIST POLITICAL CULT PARTY WHOSE OFFICIAL PLATFORM IS THAT OF HATE, INTOLERANCE, INTIMIDATION, AND TERROR.
And in this thread, I'll be showcasing that in greater detail, and hopefully without the trolling, spamming, hate speech, personal attacks, and drive by **** postings by those whose PRIMARY purpose was to obscure TRUTH behind a wall of pure ****.
