WTF?
Why vote at all then? It's pointless if this is your reason to vote.
I'll give a very simple question: Which of the following options would you choose?
A. To drink a bottle full of cyanide.
B. To drink a half bottle of cyanide that is still enough to kill you.
C. To not drink any bottles of cyanide.
Well, I don't know about anybody else, but I am going with C.

Only the first two choices will result in the actual selection of a president. The other choices leave it to others to choose.
We COULD and SHOULD have rank choice voting, as this would tend to end the intense polarization that we now have.

Rank voting is probably the best hope out of this messXavier_Onassis » 25 Jan 2023, 10:22 am » wrote: ↑ The citizen has four choices in a Presidential election.

Mine is better. When you are talking about voting for a president of one of the most powerful nations in the world, then their power is a little more than "half beaten to death" if they so choose to abuse that power. For example, let's take war. America loves war. Our government foams at the mouth for it. So, assume you know someone in our military who is close to you. Chances are that this person will be deployed somewhere after America decides to take over some country somewhere. Now, depending on who is in charge, we can have your soldier get blown up by a roadside bomb or shot in the head. Which would you like? The shot in the head is quick painless, but it is still enough to kill you.
I didn't follow your logic either tbh.Vegas » 25 Jan 2023, 10:40 am » wrote: ↑ You always say this when you got nothing. You project your stupidity onto your opponent. Every.single.time.
I would explain why saying something is illogical, doesn't mean it is illogical. But that requires some brains on your part. So, it's pointless.

Amendment XXVI
Section 1.The right of citizens of the United States, who are 18 years of age or older, to vote, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of age.
But where is the logic in this? You are still voting for someone who you believe will do more harm to our country than good. It makes no difference if the harm isn't going to be as much as the other guy. There is a third option: Don't vote at all.DeezerShoove » 25 Jan 2023, 5:11 pm » wrote: ↑
That said, there are times when both candidates are so **** bad, my vote could be considered a vote entirely against the more flawed *******.

First, you didn't answer the question, nor do I expect you too.
Second, voting isn't a right. You aren't going to see it in the constitution. It's a privilege.
Third, nobody is required to vote. It's not mandatory, *******. How do you not know that?
Fourth, there is no way that you can logical claim that voting for the least evil is patriotic, when it is still evil.
I have just nuked you. Beginning now, you will be emitting gamma, neutron, and ionizing radiation, from your person, for the rest of y
You Have nuked no one, you supercilious oaf.
But I have infected you with cybercooties because you are so utterly stupid and ignorant.
