It's all still quite vivid in my memory.  I even remember meeting the woman's dad when i was signing papers to buy the house.  Pleasant, but didn't say much.  I recall wanting to buy the two motorcycles in the garage at the time too.  One was an old classic BMW.  The other was, I believe, a K75.  He wanted 5K for the bikes, which was really too much at that time, so I passed. In retrospect, it would have been a little too weird riding around on the murder's motorcycle AND living in his house.  Even creepier than a Stephen King story.  Besides I already had a pretty nice motorcycle.

Yeah, go figure, I was a gun nut who had a motorcycle buying he house of a motorcycle nut who shot/killed his wife and then killed himself.  And, that's just for starters - the rest of the story would be even more entertaining, but too many details I don't want to get into here.

It sounds like a great story!

What I believe and what I can prove are two different things. Like you, I acknowledge this.

Assuming that there is a realm where our souls go after we die, then our ability to observe this in this realm is beyond our grasp.  Therefore, I do not believe that people can see spirits or auras.  Either they are observable or they are not.  I don't believe that it can be both (I can't prove this either).  Further, if spirits and souls exist, then then their nature and  essence is purposely kept from us here.  So, it is no use to try and interact with them in this realm.

Some are color blind. Some are tone deaf.

Some can play any music by ear with no training. Some cannot be trained.

Some can do incredibly complex math in their heads. Some can memorize every word of a book by skimming it quickly. 

Individual variation within the species is no chimera. It's a thing. It can be googled. 

It is perfectly reasonable to posit that some can see things others cannot.

I find women with tats unattractive.  Those tats narcissistically scream out "I DEMAND ATTENTION" in a bad way.  However, when I see a nice looking woman between the age of 20 - 45, without tats, she grabs my attention.  These increasingly rare women carry themselves with class, poise and natural serf-confidence.

Yeah, but just because they "see" it, doesn't mean it is there. Schizophrenics see and hear **** all the time that is not actually there.

On the other hand, there are those rare humans that can actually see a part of the uv spectrum that hardly any other humans can see.  Also, I recognize that just because your brain doesn't allow you to see infrared light, your eyes actually do sense it and can be blinded by it.
