Afghanistan was of course, a bad idea from the start, because there was no exit strategy.
We never went to war In Syria. FWIW, Bashar Al-Assad is probably the best Syria could hope for. I've got no problem with the guy. Almost looks respectable for an arab.Sumela » 25 May 2023, 11:38 am » wrote: ↑ 2. For ten years all Prezzies ""Assad must go!!"".
Its called a proxy war Sparky. US arms/funds ISIS and Al Qeada. Russian entered and saved Assad. Another USA loss
I don't know if he will or won't debate him. Usually it doesn't make any sense if someone is way ahead in the polls to debate someone who has half your numbers. Only the weaker candidate can win support in that situation.Mrkelly » 25 May 2023, 11:52 am » wrote: ↑ Man … that was brutal
I only listened to the first 20 minutes, I had to bail
I don’t know why tRump won’t debate him
I think that he would make Ron cry

ISIS was WASH DC's proxy army - Putin kicked their ***.Skans » 26 May 2023, 9:11 am » wrote: ↑ We never went to war In Syria. FWIW, Bashar Al-Assad is probably the best Syria could hope for. I've got no problem with the guy. Almost looks respectable for an arab.
Sure there was - to kill more rag-heads. Here's the deal. If a nations sponsors a military organization which attacks another nation, be prepared for the End Times, Holy Living Blazing Hell to rain down upon you. There is NOTHING that we did to the people of Afghanistan that shouldn't have been done. And, there is much that, frankly, I think we left on the table in the name of civility. What was called for was a scorched earth campaign to annihilate any living thing within the borders of Afghanistan. And, as soon as some Paki **** crossed the border, the End Times should have been visited upon that country as well.Xavier_Onassis » 26 May 2023, 8:35 am » wrote: ↑ What a dumb remark.
The US invaded Afghanistan to prevent it from being used as a haven for Al Qaeda. Once Sheik Omar and Bin Laden were gone, there was no reason to stay.
Why don't you grow up and just vote for Biden again?Squatchman » 27 May 2023, 4:57 am » wrote: ↑ I'm voting for Desantis in the primaries.
A lot of Democrats will be.
I want to see him get nominated and watch trump blow up the republican party for 2024 elections.
Good times had by all.
I'll do that in the general election for whoever is the Democrat nominee. And that's the difference between the 2 parties. We will vote for the democratic nominee no matter what. You idiots get all emotional and will splinter to try to get trump reelected no matter what.

The Afghan people are not enemies of our country.
Bides was the only president smart enough to see that Afghanistan was a lost cause and he got out, even though Trump had already signed an agreement to leave and set Biden up for failure. The US military evacuated more people than anyone has ever managed to evacuate from anywhere, ever. The 13 soldiers that were killed were no killed by the Taliban, but by a different fanatical group.
Murdering civilians is always a bad idea.
