Why do you feel that comparing the cost of a new gas burner to a used EV relevant to anything in this thread?Xavier_Onassis » 25 May 2023, 2:51 pm » wrote: ↑ Most people cannot afford even a new gas engine car. But used electric vehicles are affordable. There is a Nissan Leaf advertised for sale for $5,500 with 62,000 mils on it, and Chevy Volt Hybrid for $9900.
I think you will find that all cell phones are electric, there are no gasoline of gas powered ones available and never have been.
I have a plug in electric lawnmower that cost me $150, and it requires no maintenance, as have every gasoline motor mower.
sorry xo!Xavier_Onassis » 25 May 2023, 2:51 pm » wrote: ↑ Most people cannot afford even a new gas engine car. But used electric vehicles are affordable. There is a Nissan Leaf advertised for sale for $5,500 with 62,000 mils on it, and Chevy Volt Hybrid for $9900.

Have you ever wondered why those used E cars are inexpensive? Because of the cost of new batteries, ****. And they are a pain in the ***. Those cars are **** for taking long trips. The cars are here, but the proper and convenient charging infrastructure is not. Think of the hazardous waste which is produced when disposing of used batteries. No, it's not ALL recyclable.Xavier_Onassis » 25 May 2023, 2:51 pm » wrote: ↑ Most people cannot afford even a new gas engine car. But used electric vehicles are affordable.
