The plane has several GPS receivers.

It does not have a flight recorder, as a fighter plane.

When the pilot turned off the IFF squawker the plane is invisible to radar.

And of course there’s no locator.  It’s a **** war plane flown by Americans who support NATO and not Putin.  That would tell Putin where to find it.

The aircraft descends from the Lockheed Martin X-35, which in 2001 beat the Boeing X-32 to win the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program.
