The Scott Walker rePUBICan crony State Legislature is considering TAMPERING with VOTER ACCESSIBILITY through the BACK DOOR

Mark Belling syndicated local columnist and Late Afternoon Show host on WISN 1130 Am Clearchannel Milwaukee was in full support of the proposed Law

Currently Wisconsin Law allows MUNICIPALITIES and COUNTIES to run POLLS and set HOURS within LOCAL AUTHORITY

Wisconsin has 3 major URBAN AREAS that would be Milwaukee and southeast counties population CSD 1.8 MILLION.

Madison and Metro Area population csd shy of. 600 Thousand.

The FOX CITIES is Oshkosh Appleton and Green Bay along US 41 and Calumet County and Manitowoc County along I-43 and Lake Michigan Shore
population Csd 6-700 thousand

These are the States Urban Areas and contain nearly HALF the Population of the ENTIRE STATE

Republicans have taken control of Madison since 2010

The VOTER ID law they passed is in LITIGATION

The Urban areas vote Democrat Majority

Smaller Cities and RURAL Farm Counties and suburban Waukesha County pop 396 thousand go mostly REPUBLICAN

Most RED DISTRICTS pass Shorter HOURS

Most BLUE CITIES and Counties have EXTENDED and Weekend registration

Remember currently LOCAL GOVERNMENT has the Authority to set Poll hours and registration

Republicans want STATE MANDATES meaning the LOSS of LOCAL CONTROL

Big STATE GOVERNMENT under SCOTT WALKER wants to Take LOCAL CONTROL from Cities Towns and Counties and IMPOSE state mandates

"We do better when LESS people VOTE"

Don't have a specific link but PBS did a DOCUMENTARY on ALECC

Google PBS FRONTLINE and ALECC

"Now many of our Christians have what I call the 'goo-goo syndrome.' Good government. They want everybody to vote. I don't want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people. They never have been from the beginning of our country, and they are not now. As a matter of fact our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down." —Paul Weyrich, CoFounder of The Heritage Foundation - 1980

The Wsconsin VOTER ID ACT is CURRENTLY in LEGAL LIMBO

The NEW BILL has rePUBICans and Scott Walker saying RESTRICT the LOCAL CONTROL through STATE LAW

Now many states CURRENTLY have POLLING MANDATES but Wisconsin and dozens of OTHER STATES allow LOCAL LEADERS to DECIDE within FEDERAL GUIDELINES

State Law is BIG GOVERNMENT

LOCAL MUNICIPAL or COUNTY GOVERNMENT is THE PEOPLE

If CITIZENS had a PROBLEM local districts would LOBBY and hold LOCAL LEADERS ACCOUNTABLE

Go ahead, deny that these measures are being taken to keep minorities and the poor from voting. That's exactly why Republicans are doing this. Their base is older white people. Those people are declining in numbers while young whites, Hispanics and Asians' numbers are on the rise. So what do you do when your base is shrinking? You make it harder for people less likely to vote Republican to vote.

You do know what that makes the people who are putting these measures in place, don't you? Unpatriotic bastards who should have their voting rights suspended. They sure don't deserve them.

Tin Foil Hat Much??

The only reason you don't like these measures is because it limits voter fraud, and illegal immigrants from voting i.e. a major parts of the democrat base.
