Two days after Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) posed for a photo with former Ku Klux Klan leader Chester Doles, leading to outcry from Jewish activists, Loeffler’s campaign insisted Sunday that she had no idea who Doles was.

 But Doles’ profile as a white supremacist was prominent enough that he was ejected from a campaign rally in September featuring Loeffler and Rep.-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Loeffler claimed then as well that she wasn’t aware of any controversy linked to Doles.

 Bend the Arc, a progressive Jewish advocacy group, retweeted a photo Saturday of Loeffler smiling next to Doles. The photo was taken Friday at a campaign event. Doles had posted the photo with a caption that read in part: “Save America, stop Socialism!”

 Doles spent decades as a member of the KKK (and led a faction in Maryland) and the neo-Nazi National Alliance, the Journal-Constitution reported. He’s a convicted felon who was sentenced to prison for the 1993 beating of a Black man, according to The Baltimore Sun.

 “This is who [Loeffler] is proudly appealing to,” Bend the Arc’s Twitter account posted.

 Loeffler is “once again trying to distance herself from someone who is a known white supremacist,” said a statement from the campaign of Rev. Raphael Warnock, Loeffler’s Democratic rival in one of Georgia’s two upcoming Senate runoffs. “There’s no acceptable explanation for it happening once, let alone a second time,” the statement added, referring to the September rally.

 The communications director for Democrat Jon Ossoff, who is challenging Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) in the other runoff, tweeted: “This is Georgia’s GOP.” The twin runoffs, scheduled for Jan. 5, will determine which party controls the Senate for at least two years.

 Stephen Lawson, a spokesperson for Loeffler’s campaign, told the Journal-Constitution that the senator “had no idea” who Doles was. Had she known, she would have “kicked him out immediately because we condemn in the most vociferous terms everything that he stands for,” Lawson said.

 Doles told The Associated Press on Sunday that he has “renounced racism on several occasions in the past couple of years.”

This is how we see our map in relation to voting:Here is the problem with that map. It’s set up to show whole counties within each state. Not actual population, so it looks super RED.So here’s the final map that shows you where people actually are.When you look at the top map, and you are a Republican you feel like clearly more people in the US share your views!   And if you are a Democrat, the top map makes it look like you are greatly outnumbered.  The bottom map, showing population, gives a much more accurate picture.

I used to do a bit of gig work to supplement my full time income during off hours. I made $25-30/hr doing basic **** like tutoring and driving ppl around with Uber, and keep in mind none of these required a college education (which I already had at that point - I just wanted some play money).

Maybe if that hypothetical person you speak of were a **** retard they would choose to stay at a job paying $8/hr, but that’s not anybody’s fault but theirs when other options avail.

There are plenty of one-person self-employment/gig opportunities where you can easily make $20/hr or more: dog walking, tutoring, web design, house cleaning, social media management, etc.

Someone I know who has zero college education was making $25/hr in security, another almost $28/hr as a dog groomer, etc. 

While none of these are glamorous, and $20/hr is peanuts compared to what I make, there is almost no entry barrier and a very low education requirement that consists of reading 2-3 ebooks that cost $7.99 each from Amazon Kindle at most (and maybe some “job training”)

Groovy.     Those are great suggestions for someone who has money tucked aside and wants to make some extra cash.    I live in a small Maine town of 4500 people.  People here don't pay to have their dog walked.  This is Maine, not LA.  These are poor, hard-working people..  They are paycheck-to-paycheck and often fall deeper into debt every year between medical bills, credit cards, and utility payments.  These people show up to work every day and work hard.  But they are NOT entrepreneurs, nor do they have several grand stashed aside [or the business connections and know-how) to start a side business.  These are hourly workers who  worry each month about making their bills.  That's no way to live.....not when the top 1% makes more than they'll ever possibly need..

My stance is if we can throw trillions in tax breaks to billionaires, the very LEAST we can do for the working poor is pay for a state university and/or community college degree as well as allow them to go to the doctor without them ending up in bankruptcy court.  That's not asking a lot.

Based on your post, I’m almost 95% certain you were employed in a very cushy government job for most of your life where you never faced the threat of downsizing/outsourcing/layoffs, and you think your model can apply to the rest of the unwashed masses.

Lmao.  Don't quit your day job.       One thing you need to know about me, right off the bat - when I rail about the economy, I am speaking about those all around me (not myself).  I've worked for a specialty medical practice for 32 years.  It's not a "cushy government job."    I started there in the late 80's, verifying insurance coverage and processing claims.  From there, I completed a 2nd degree (already had one) and eventually became certified in all aspects of medical coding and billing.  As the years rolled by, more and more responsibility was added.  In 2016, I was promoted to director of reimbursement.  I make very good money (for Maine), have a sizeable savings account and a 401k in which my employer has contributed a 10% match for over 30 years.  I am all set.....and will be retiring this year.

I don't look at low-wage hourly workers as "retards" at all.   These are hard-working people just trying to make it.  Good paying jobs are hard to come by in Maine.   I will not look down my nose at them.   I'm not so full of it that I don't understand that had I not found a FANTASTIC employer, I could easily be where they are.  Because I recognize that, I want to advocate for others who are struggling.

 DSM-5 Criteria for Antisocial Personality DisorderPeople with NPD can become depressed if they fall short of what they feel is ideal. They may secretly feel insecure, vulnerable, and humiliated and have fragile self-esteem.

 Antisocial personality disorder is "a pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others," according to the DSM-5. An individual must show at least three of the following:

• Repeated failure to follow social norms resulting in grounds for arrest
• Engaging in deceitfulness (lying, using aliases, not paying off debts)
• Impulsivity and not planning ahead; moving around constantly

AT&T got a contract to do forensic audit on Dominion voting machines and those machines were being moved to Nashville this past week.
The former owner of the AT&T building in Nashville, William Kennard, is a board member for Cerberus Capital Management and AT&T.... He also was Bill Clinton’s FCC chair, and Obama’s Ambassador to the EU.
Dominion voting is owned by Cerberus Capital Management.... Cerberus is run by Staple Street Execs. Joe Bidens Brother in Law, Steven Owens, is the cofounder of Staple Street Execs along with William Kennard (mentioned above).
Super Computer in TN was connected to the AT&T internet in NASHVILLE.... yesterday evening the Cumberland river cooling system was compromised due to internet outage and Supercomputer fried.....
If you don’t know, “Kraken” is a reference to a supercomputer former prosecuter, Sidney Powell, has been talking about.
So, the explosion “just happened” to be at the AT&T location where they “just so happen” to control the cooling system for the super computer and house the dominion voting machines and drives for forensic audit...
Does it make sense now why no lives were lost? Does it make sense now why the FBI task lead couldn’t even put together a coherent sentence in the press conference yesterday? Does it make sense why the mayor was making light of the situation, almost laughing yesterday?

 How much more do I have to dumb it down for you. POVERTY is where violent crime is concentrated and because of DECADES of institutional racism blacks are overrepresented IN the nieghborhoods OF dire poverty so OF COURSE their numbers are overrepreanted in violent crimes which happen IN those places.  This is very obvious and easy to see

White people in poverty don't nearly have the same white on white crime rate, or fathers bailing. They have it, but  proportionately, it's not even comparable. Same with Mexicans and Asians.

It just took over 200 years for our culture to produce the “quintessentially American” man who could live up to the cult of personality necessary to pull it off.

Growing up, I was keenly aware that the U.S. seemed to be an anomaly in the world.  We had these orderly Transitions of power all my life, while other countries had violent coups, fistfights in the capitols, massive protests in the streets on a regular basis and civil wars.

what made America special, I wondered?  Our Constitution surely has a strong system of checks and balances that seems to prevent major upheavals.  It’s like a structurally sound form of government.  But that doesn’t explain all of it.  Charismatic leaders have risen up before and upended stable systems, drawing sycophants into their orbit and bending entire nations to their will.  What did Stalin, Mussolini, Ghandi, Selassie, and Franco and Tito all have in common?

they all managed to capture the imagination of huge groups of people because they seemed to embody the very spirit and character of a whole nation.  Selassie didn’t just represent a North African nation; he was Ethiopia personified.

America is a young country.  What kind of person really personifies America to the degree that they could form a cult of personality strong enough to seize power?  Bombastic, gluttonous, big businessman, greedy, over the top, larger than life.  

We have never been susceptible to an authoritarian leader subverting the Constitution because we had not made such a unique character, until Trump.
