I'm sorry, can you quote the laws broken in this "real scandal" of "real crimes"?

It is illegal for public assets to be used for a political purpose.
The executive director of the Port Authority said violations of not only state but federal law have occurred.

 :die: :die: :die:

you are indicting Obama with that statement. He uses the federal agencies to attack Republicans and Tea party people. But you progressives keep your head in the sand over that.

For example Gibson Guitar was descended upon by many gun toting government enforcers and the company shut down. They were charged with using a special wood from India they were not supposed to use. The government thugs ignored the documentation that they had gotten the needed permission from both the Indian and US government agencies to use this wood in making their top line of guitars. They forced Gibson to have that part manufactured in India even though they ignored the guitar manufacturer across town that used the exact same wood. The difference is that Gibson has Republicans in ownership and the other company has Democrats.

This is just one of many examples of misuse of power in the Obama administration.

Didn't know, didn't ask, didn't care? There are quite a few inconsistencies in what Christie claimed during his marathon press conference. Some of them are more glaring than others:
Christie claims he learned about the emails/texts yesterday along with the rest of us.

That would mean that not only did his Deputy Chief of Staff/Port Authority appointees lie to him repeatedly since September, she/they didn't even tell him after the emails/texts were turned over to the legislative committee, which happened a couple of weeks ago.

Given what was turned over and the number of people involved, that seems implausible.
Two of his own appointees were forced to resign over this weeks ago.
Press reports were already reporting that documents turned over to the investigating committee were incriminating for his administration.

But he says he didn't know those documents even existed until yesterday. Did the governor confine himself to a hermetically sealed box for the last few weeks? Was he working on a particularly interesting crossword puzzle?
Two weeks ago, Christie said his staff had given him a "full briefing" on the investigation.

That emails were being turned over directly implicating his office didn't come up? His entire office staff figured that if they didn't tell Christie that emails ordering the traffic closure existed, he would never find out about it?
This would all have been cleared up in an instant if Christie had verified just once that there was indeed a "traffic study" whose particulars meshed with the facts in question. He never did, and in fact was dismissive of reporters who asked whether he had done that.

As hardball politician (and one who has no been no stranger to scandals) he never once asked for a scant page or two of paperwork that would have made the single biggest scandal of his tenure disappear in an afternoon? And that his staff was apparently unable to locate such paperwork on their own was unconcerning to him—his claim to the reporter asking the question was that if he produced such documents his opponents would just "find something else?"
On a more petty point: how did Christie "not get a lot of sleep" for the past two nights when he claims he only found out about the connection to his office yesterday?

That's one night, Mr. Ex-Prosecutor.
That's not even getting into the premise of Christie "investigating" how this happened while simultaneously expressing no interest in talking to the primary, now-fired witness, but we'll chalk that up to Christie's normal predisposition to vengeance over logic, or his new claims that the fellow who had previously been described as one of Christie's school chums is in fact someone Christie barely knows

(convenient, given that the non-friend has spent the morning pleading the 5th.)
So far Christie is pleading total managerial incompetence, up to and possibly including sudden onset amnesia. We'll see how that works out for him.

skews is at it again with is hysterical idiocy. He ignores all of the scandals in the Obama administration and attacks a Republican before all of the information has come out. Obama imitates Sgt. Shultz and promises to investigate it and then silence or in the case of Holder getting into trouble with Fast and Furious he puts it under executive privilege. I wonder if skews understands the Sgt. Shultz mention. LOL

How many people have to die to make a real scandal?????

Yep, the bridge is a connector between two states, which means interstate commerce. The real crimes to me though is the delay of emergency response vehicles, and putting children on school buses in harms way. These are not petty instances of finger pointing.

I am sure Holder will be all over it and then the truth will come out.

Did you notice he cited no laws which were violated?

And did you hold the same position when the IRS was used to target people for political purposes.
Or when the Obama Administration closed the national parks and monuments, for political purposes?
Or when they sent public assets out to lie about what happened in Benghazi?

One basic difference between Christy and Obama. Christy's situation is real. Obama's has all been debunked! That's a real difference, you know.

You are hilarious in your silly defense of the indefensible.
How many people have to die for a scandal to be real????
4 in Benghazi, hundreds of Mexicans in Mexico and at least two US citizens in the US with Fast and Furious.
Why did Obama put Executive Privilege when Holder was getting close to being indicted for obstruction of congress????
I guess open and transparent went out the window his first day in office along with all other campaign promises.

Illegal or not, I agree with you about the guys who did this and their abuse of authority. That's why the IRS scandal should have been an outrage to all Americans.

It was an "outrage" to all Americans and even Obama said he was "outraged" by it. It has since been investigated and debunked! Only Fox News watchers still think it was real. They targeted liberal groups also. The guy doing it was conservative. They should have been targeting all politically oriented non-profits. etc.....

People in the IRS said it happened and came down as an order from above them!!!!! How many people were fired or demoted for that scandal??? Oh that is right!!!!! ZERO

More came out after that. Liberal groups were also targeted. They should have been targeted. The whole law needs to be fixed. Originally, you couldn't use non-profit money for ANY political activity. That's the way it should be.

:die: :die: :die: :die: :die:
WOW a whole two of them.

Obama didn't cause Benghazi, asshole! There were shortcomings to come out of the investigation, but nothing you can hang Obama for. You're full of shit.

:die: :die: :die: :die: :die:
Truman had a sign on his desk. THE BUCK STOPS HERE Christie understood that concept. Clinton was in charge of the State Department so I guess she was not at fault either. It was just some lowly minion that brought home the military and replaced them with locals without weapons right? The problem is the head of the State Department is charges with the safety of the Ambassadors and all of the other staff in foreign countries. The Ambassador and the the head of the military there repeatedly requested reinforcement but poor Hillary couldn't be bothered. Obama appointed her so that makes it also fall on him. Just like all of the other scandals he call fake and kept on saying he knew nothing just like Sgt. Shultz. You can see a difference between Christie and Obama. When Christie got information he took a day and investigated and fired people. Then he held a press conference. Obama just says he didn't know then much later a whitewash comes out. The major problem is he keeps on obstructing the congressional investigations. This after he claimed he would have the most hones administration and be open and transparent. That and all of the other campaign promises apparently were lies.
