Why are Democrats opposing Gorsuch? There is absolutely no question he's highly qualified.

He was confirmed to his last position by an overwhelming margin.
So why are they opposing him for SCOTUS?

Possible answers:

1) Dems are responding to their lunatic base

2) Democrats don't care if the Constitution is honestly upheld

3) Democrats are so bitterly anger that HRC lost that they'll oppose out of pure spite.

4) Dems are responding to their lunatic base

5) Dems are responding to their lunatic base

They think the Republicans stole the nomination. They think acting like petulant children will make them feel better.

The difference is the pubs control congress AND have the presidency. I see a rule change coming. If the pubs have any balls. Something the leadership has been lacking.

Except that Repubs didn't do anything in that case that Dems hadn't done and long advocated.

Yes but I think you're forgetting (but probably not) that it's ok for Dims to do it, but not for Repubs. (In their eyes).

No, the senate repubs are moving slowly, hoping the dems will pull their heads out. We should be a happy that they are not acting precipitously.

And as usual, not one single intelligent answer from a liberal.

Any of you liberals want to brag about how you're smarter and more educated than conservatives?

I can hear the shrieking and wailing already. :)

I expect Trump to win re-election, so who knows how many seats will open up?

No? Thought not.

One of my favorite bumper stickers from the late 1970s was “Nuke the Gay Whales for Jesus,” which managed to skewer several pieties at once. I’ll take nuking the Senate filibuster for the confirmation of Judge Gorsuch. It’s hard to believe the Democrats could be so dumb.

Next thing you know they’ll nominate a corrupt, unappealing 69-year-old woman for president. Oh, wait. . .

Still not one single coherent expression in answer to my question.

All those intelligent, ejucated liberals must be somewhere else.

Oh my, more bad news for liberals. You're about to lose SCOTUS for a generation or more. :)

Imagine the shrieking and wailing if Trump can replace two or three more justices, especially liberals.
